About Capitol Corridor JPA

The Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority manages and funds the Capitol Corridor service on Amtrak between Auburn, Sacramento, Oakland, and San Jose. Operating 30 trains daily on the busiest portion of the corridor, it is the third-busiest Amtrak corridor service in the United States. Fleet

CDOT-owned Siemens Venture coaches and Charger SC-44 locomotives have replaced the original California Cars on most Capitol Corridor consists.
